At Sapphire 2026, SAP said RISE customers would commit to activating three Joule Assistants in their first year. SAP is betting that trusted data and end-to-end processes will give it an advantage that even the largest AI companies cannot reproduce. For CTOs, the question is whether that advantage earns Joule a central role. Or whether SAP is using its contracts to secure one.
